🤑 Best football tips of the weekend 👇
The Premier League is back, and for good this time, we can sit back and enjoy this weekend's fixtures safe in the knowledge another international break doesn’t roll around till March, our tips below are here to help educate your bets for this weekend’s return!
Our tips will consist of the following categories:
· The Banker – A bet with shorter odds that is typically, statistically, more likely to happen.
· The Earner – An upgrade on the banker that holds more potential profit, at a greater risk.
· The Long Shot – A bet with longer odds that aims to secure significant profit but as the name suggests, is often difficult to pull off.
· The Accumulator – A combination of often shorter odd bets to create a longer, more profitable accumulator.
The Banker - (11/10)
Liverpool to beat Southampton & Southampton to get the most cards (11/10)
Arne Slot’s Liverpool will be desperate to continue where they left off before the international break as they take on Southampton, who remain bottom of the table despite the Saints recently picking up their first victory of the season.
Southampton’s brief exit from the Premier League means these sides haven’t met in the top flight for over a year, but the Reds did comfortably beat Russell Martin’s Southampton side in the FA Cup earlier this year and can comfortably be classified as favourites for this meeting.
The hosts to pick up the most bookings is what boosts this bet, however, and from the statistics it looks like great value for money.
Only Chelsea (42) have received more bookings in the Premier League this season than Southampton who have been shown 37 yellow cards already this season. On the flip side, Slot’s Liverpool are one of the best disciplined teams in the league, receiving just 21 bookings so far, the 3rd lowest tally in the Premier League.
If you want to add more value to this bet you could also back Liverpool to have the most shots on target in the game if you fancy the Reds' dominance to continue this season.

The Earner - (3/1)
Calvert-Lewin & Wissa to both have a shot on target and there to be over 2 goals (3/1)
Brentford’s fixtures of late have guaranteed one thing - goals, and plenty of them. No team has had more goals in their games so far this Premier League season than the Bees have with an astonishing 44 goals in 11 games (22 for, 22 against).
A key factor to that is how easily Thomas Frank’s side allows shots at their goal, no team averages more shots on target against them per 90 than Brentford’s 6.91 per 90.
Everton’s striker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the 27-year-old is averaging a shot on target per 90 minutes so far this season and at Goodison Park, the Toffees should manufacture plenty of chances on goal against an open Brentford side.
Wissa added another two goals to his goal tally this season as he and Mbeumo continue to forge a lethal strike partnership. The Congolese forward is Brentford’s most frequent recorder of shots on target with 1.43 shots on target per 90 and will be feeling confident in front of goal after bagging himself a brace in his last game.
As explained above, Brentford’s games usually mean plenty of goals with all five of the Bees’ last Premier League games ending with at least three goals scored.

The Long Shot - (8/1)
Tottenham to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 (8/1)
Spurs’ ability to trip up Manchester City is well documented, however, Postecoglou’s side who agonisingly dropped points to Ipswich before the international break have struggled for consistency, making their odds for this clash very long.
Manchester City are undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with, although, Guardiola’s side are currently suffering a barren run of form with the Citizens losing all four of their last four games, a losing streak kickstarted by Tottenham themselves who beat City in the Carabao Cup.
Tottenham have beaten Manchester City 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 four times in just over three years, making this bet a good one should you think that Postecolgou’s side could cause an upset at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The Accumulator - (8/1)
Aston Villa, Fulham, Liverpool, Manchester United & Newcastle all to win (8/1)
Crystal Palace may have secured a place in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup at Aston Villa’s expense last month, but the Eagles are continuing to struggle in their first full season under Oliver Glasner, with Aston Villa at home, they are rightly favourites to secure revenge over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Fulham continue to punch well above their weight under the stewardship of Marco Silva and are sitting pretty in 7th after a stunning start to the season. Wolves’ form has been the inverse with Gary O’Neil’s side continuing to languish in the relegation zone, it will be a tough ask for Wolves to walk away with any points here.
Liverpool have defied all expectations and currently top the Premier League table. Southampton’s dangerous and risk-taking style of play is likely to see them punished against a ruthless Liverpool side who’ve only lost once all season.
Ruben Amorim’s arrival will be giving United fans plenty of reasons to be optimistic about their team again and although Ipswich will be taking the momentum from their stunning victory against Spurs, the new manager bounce should see the Red Devils over the line in this one.
Newcastle United have issues of their own but nowhere near the extent of the ones their opponents, West Ham, are currently facing. Murmurs of unrest from multiple players and abysmal results have meant that Lopetegui’s start as Hammers manager has been far from ideal. The Magpies have only lost once at home and look a great option at 1/2.
