🤑 Best football tips of the weekend 👇

Liverpool topped the tree at christmas as Manchester City continue to slide away, but the festive fixtures only keep coming with another action-packed two days of Premier League fixtures to enjoy with our tips!

Our tips will consist of the following categories:

· The Banker – A bet with shorter odds that is typically, statistically, more likely to happen.

· The Earner – An upgrade on the banker that holds more potential profit, at a greater risk.

· The Long Shot – A bet with longer odds that aims to secure significant profit but as the name suggests, is often difficult to pull off.

· The Accumulator – A combination of often shorter odd bets to create a longer, more profitable accumulator.

The Banker - (13/8)

Matheus Cunha to score or assist a goal (13/8)

Paddy Power have boosted the odds of Cunha to score or assist to well above evens when the best price available elsewhere is only 10/11, and that’s without the extra help of super sub that Paddy Power offer.

Cunha is averaging just under a goal contribution every game, with fourteen goals and assists in his seventeen league starts so far this season, with five of those contributions coming in Cunha’s last three games alone.

A large contributing factor to this bet however is Tottenham’s defensive deficiencies. Ange Postecoglou’s side have shipped ten goals in their past three games alone and, according to Postecoglou, are likely to be without Radu Dragusin with Bissouma potentially having to play centre-back for the first time in his career alongside teenager Archie Gray, who also isn’t a natural central defender.

The Earner - (19/5)

Foden & Savinho to each have a shot on target, Vardy & Ayew both to have a shot (19/5)

It would have shocked any football fan if you were to say that Manchester City were struggling for form as much as Leicester City at the start of the season, but it’s the situation the champions find themselves in.

Foden and Savinho remain key attacking outlets for City who should be testing Leicester defensive resolve plenty of times in this earlier Sunday game with the Foxes allowing an average of 6.06 shots on their goal per 90 this season (the 2nd highest tally in the league).

Savinho is averaging 1.1 shots on target per 90 this season and recorded three shots on goal in his last Premier League start alone. Foden may be struggling to replicate the form that earned him the Premier League POTS last campaign but is still averaging 0.7 shots on target per 90 and should have plenty of opportunities against Leicester.

Jamie Vardy and Jordan Ayew are both comfortably averaging more than a shot per 90 this season (1.69 and 1.84 shots per 90 respectively) and should be able to get at least a shot off each at least at home against a Manchester City side that are more open than ever.

The Long Shot (11/1)

Liverpool to win & both Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz to have two shots on target (11/1)

Liverpool’s lead is now six points at the top of the table with a win at West Ham feeling key to securing their credentials as title favourites this season. The Hammers may have picked up three points against Southampton but it was a performance that still left many West Ham fans underwhelmed.

Mohamed Salah recorded two shots on target against Leicester with his average of 1.75 shots on target per 90 placing the Egyptian in the top four of the Premier League’s shot on target takers, Salah has also netted in his last three of his past four fixtures against West Ham.

Diaz’s form has been sporadic this season with the Colombian’s goals often coming in spurts but with a full rest given to the winger on Boxing Day, the hope will be that Diaz, who is recording 1.4 shots on target per 90 this season, will test Alphonso Areola in the Hammers net, who will be making his first return to the team since being dramatically dropped by Lopetegui in October.

The Accumulator - (10/1)

Liverpool, Man City & Southampton all to win (10/1)

West Ham host Liverpool in the late kick off on Sunday with the Hammers looking to upset Slot’s debut season title charge, although their last game proved even an early setback in a game won’t knock their momentum off-kilter, Liverpool have also already defeated West Ham in the EFL Cup this season and haven’t been defeated by their hosts in their past seven meetings.

The constant question surrounding Guardiola’s Manchester City is just how low will they fall? Leicester City however have only picked up a single point in the four games since Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s appointment with this game surely being the one where the reigning champions return to winning ways.

The selection that makes this accumulator is obviously Southampton to pick up their second win of the season. Ivan Juric took to the Saints dugout for the first time on Boxing Day and was extremely unlucky to not start his tenure with a bang, limiting the Hammers to just two shots on target as well as dominating possession, big chances, and shots on target in the game.

The underlying statistics all pointed to a promising start to the Croatian’s reign with a trip to Crystal Palace, who have won only a single home game this season (making them the 3rd worst home side in the division) potentially setting up Juric for an impressive first win in charge, which looks worth a shot at 5/1.
